Kraken’s Cove is a fresh take on the classic memory game, perfect for introducing younger players to thrilling, cut-throat strategy.

In the game, players set out to catch fish, shrimp or crabs in specially equipped boats. Strategically uncover a Kraken to sabotage your opponents, sending them back home with empty nets – even at the cost of your own catch!

WHAT’S IN THE BOX

Each copy of Kraken’s Cove contains 3 Pier boards, 9 Boat tiles, 16 Kraken tiles, 6 crab tiles, 6 fish tiles, 6 shrimp tiles and the Rulebook.

HOW TO PLAY

Each player begins at their own pier, where they dock boats specifically equipped to catch either fish, shrimp, or crabs. The game starts by shuffling all fish, shrimp, crab, and 7 Kraken tiles face down and arranging them in a 5×5 grid to form the cove. Set any extra Kraken tiles aside in a pile.

On each turn, players choose one of two actions:

Drop Anchor: Move one of your boats into the cove and drop anchor by placing it on any tile.

Fish: Flip a tile adjacent to where your boat is anchored.

• If the tile matches your boat’s catch (fish, shrimp, or crab), you move it to your dock and replace it with a Kraken tile in the cove.
• If the tile doesn’t match your boat’s catch, release it back to the cove by flipping it back
  over.
• If you uncover a Kraken, your boat-and any adjacent boats-must return to the docks!

The goal is to remember what’s on the tiles that have been revealed and avoid the lurking Krakens. Be the first to catch three creatures to win, but beware-the Krakens outnumber the fish, shrimp, and crabs!
